Counsellor and Psychotherapist
My journey into this field goes a long way back; even as a teenager, I remember having a curiosity about how inner life mirrors the world around us. That early fascination grew into a commitment to help people make sense of their experiences, especially the parts that feel unspeakable or stuck. My aim is to work gently alongside people to restore feelings of safety, connection, and choice in their lives.
Experience, Qualifications & Professional Accreditations
Since 2010 I have worked with hundreds of individuals and groups as a Counsellor and Psychotherapist, supporting a vast array of life circumstances and emotions that prevent people from leading their lives in the happiest and fullest way possible. Alongside my private practice, I've worked as a therapist in a range of settings including the NHS, corporate and voluntary sector agencies.
As a Fellow of the Royal Society for Public Health, I hold a range of professional accreditations including as a Senior Accredited Psychotherapist with the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (NCPS) and Accreditation with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). My academic background has led me to study a BA (Hons) Degree in Counselling & Psychotherapy. As part of my ongoing professional development I regularly enhance my clinical skills through the study of additional short courses and CPD workshops. Some of these have included:
